Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Specialty Intake Coordinator to join our team in Eugene, OR. Optum is a clinician-led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live.

Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress is a training-oriented, specialty behavioral health clinic that provides evidence-based, inclusive, and multiculturally sensitive treatment and assessment services to the Eugene-Springfield community.  As a specialty therapy clinic, we are particularly interested in psychologists with experience treating anxiety, OCD, and PTSD from a third-wave CBT approach and a background utilizing exposure therapy. Our assessment clinic provides opportunities for psychological or neuropsychological assessment across lifespan, with a range of referral questions (Autism and ADHD being the most requested evaluations). Location: 940 Willamette St. Eugene, OR. This role is hybrid, requiring 2 days onsite per week.  

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm PST

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Answer phones and respond to client emails
  • Provide excellent customer service to clinic clients and support clinic providers
  • Assign new clients seeking services at our clinic to good match providers at the clinic, using knowledge of provider specialties and knowledge of client needs
  • Refer to those who reach out for services who are not good fit
  • Enter clients into state measures and outcomes tracking system
  • Reassign clients as needed
  • Collaborate with the rest of the administrative support team to support daily operations

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of mental health or behavioral health intake experience 
  • 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field with some knowledge of psychological diagnoses/needs to better match clients to providers in the clinic
  • Electronic Health Records experience (EPIC or Athena)
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
