Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise a team of Clinical Admin Coordinators which includes training, developing, coaching, and potentially administering disciplinary actions 
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures related to contract obligations
  • Conduct individual development meetings with team    
  • Resolve team scheduling issues and conflicts 
  • Train new hires and reinforcing training for existing team members 
  • Serve as a lead on special projects including reporting on these projects 
  • Create job training aides 
  • Assist in the interview process of hiring of new Clinical Administrative Coordinators
  • Drive the team to meet individual quality and productivity metrics and business goals

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED 
  • 1+ years of experience leading, managing or supervising direct reports 
  • Proven exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications
  • Reside in the state of TN 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proven long-term care knowledge
  • Medicare and/or Medicaid experience
  • Experience with writing and editing policies and procedures and standard operating procedures
  • Experience in Healthcare or Managed Care

The salary range for this role is $49,300 to $96,400 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
